Flight changes for Air France / KLM
12.12.08
Air France / KLM is rationalising its flight operations at London City Airport from early next month. Flights operated by VLM and KLM Cityhopper between London City and Amsterdam will be operated by Air France regional airline CityJet from January 5. It will use a 95-seat AVRO RJ-85 operating eight flights a day on weekdays, one on Saturdays and four on Sundays.
In addition new subsidiary VLM will operate the group's eight daily return flights between London City to Rotterdam. It will also replacing CityJet on a London City to Eindhoven route and operate two daily flights from January 12.
The flights to Amsterdam and to Rotterdam will be operated as a VLM / KLM code share and will continue to be sold through the VLM and KLM websites and sales channels. The changes are part of an ‘optimisation’ of services at London City, according to a statement from Air France / KLM.
