London City named UK's top airport

London City was named the UK's leading airport for the fifth year in a row at the 2010 Wanderlust Travel Awards. Over 2000 readers voted for the awards, giving London City an overall score of 85 percent and placing it ahead of Southampton, Newcastle, Birmingham and Inverness airports, who completed the top 5.
Richard Gooding, chief executive of London City Airport, said: ‘We are delighted to have won this prestigious award again. We are pleased that Wanderlust readers continue to think that London City is the best UK airport.’
