CityJet flight weight 'debacle'

An Air France CityJet flight from London City Airport on Thursday afternoon was delayed by 30 minutes when four unfortunate passengers were told they were being transferred to a later flight, the Courier reports. The pilot described the incident as a 'debacle'.
A Cityjet spokesman confirmed the incident and said that the passengers travelling on the flight to Dundee were chosen because they were the last to check in. He said: 'the decision was made by the captain because of the weather conditions and the weight of the aircraft,’ adding that each delayed passenger had received compensation for the inconvenience caused.
A passenger who travelled on the delayed flight said that after landing the pilot apologised for the ‘debacle’ and said he would be submitting a report to CityJet.
