BA ground planes after 'hard landing'

British Airways has grounded nine of its planes for inspection following a ‘hard landing’ at London City Airport. It is conducting an investigation into all of its BAE Avro RJ100 planes following the incident on Friday evening.
The flight from Amsterdam, with 67 passengers and 4 crew on board, lost its front wheels when it skidded to a halt at on the runway London City. Passengers were taken off using the emergency chutes and one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The airport was closed following the incident and suffered minor delays on Saturday, but is now back to normal.
