CityJet milestone on Nantes flights
16.02.10
CityJet, the Air France-KLM subsidiary, has carried the 25,000th passenger on its flights between London City Airport and Nantes. Passenger Paul Minton was presented with two complimentary tickets for flights on its network.
Launched in April last year, the service between London City and Nantes has seen a steady increase in passengers over the past ten months. CityJet said the twice-daily flights have been popular among business and leisure travellers.
Geoffrey O'Byrne, chief executive of CityJet, said: ‘We are really pleased to have reached our 12-month target of 25,000 passengers in just ten months. To have done so in such tough trading conditions is a testament to the tenacity of the CityJet team who has helped make this a success.’
