CityJet add Paris flights after rail problems
20.12.09
CityJet has increased capacity on its routes between London City Airport and both Paris Orly and Antwerp for tomorrow (Monday) as rail passengers switch to air travel due to continued snowfall across Europe. The weather conditions are hitting rail operations, with Eurostar trains failing and its service severely disrupted.
In order to cope with the increase demand, CityJet has added one extra flight on its Paris and Antwerp routes tomorrow morning. A spokesman for the airline said that it 'continues to monitor the situation closely to see whether any extra flights will need to be added.'
