Big improvement in on time performance

More than 7 out of 10 flights left London City Airport on time in the last quarter of 2008, according to figures released by the Civil Aviation Authority. The statistics showed a marked improvement in on-time performance compared to a year earlier.
74 percent of flights departed on time in the period October - December 2008. This was an improvement of 16 percentage points compared to the same period in 2007.
